  Polymer bonds the paint to the substrate surface, it’s the ADHESIVE. imparting excellent
  adhesion properties reduce the chance of paint flaking.
 
  On drying the Polymer forms a waterproof, weather resistant SKIN. 
  Mitico’s use of Barrier Membrane technology ensures a continuous waterproof  barrier
   ‘seamlessly’ coating the surface, effectively blocking off water pathways.
  Combined with its ability to breath allows trapped internal vapour to be released,
   reducing the risk of paint blistering.

  Mitico offers superior water resistance performance to standard acrylic paints.

  Mitico’s excellent stress and strain recovery properties, allow it to repeatably
   to expand and contract with the roof structure during the daily heat/ cooling cycles.
  Reduces chance of the paint wrinkling and delaminating on aging.
 
  The Mitico’s elastomeric TOUGH film has very low dirt pickup properties,
   often a problem with standard flexible ‘soft’ paints.  
 
  For most of our colours we use ‘solid’ iron oxide pigments, these are various combinations
   of iron and oxygen atoms (exception is ‘white’ which is titanium dioxide, TiO2).
  Iron oxides are found in natural rock outcrops and have been used in ‘paints’ through
   the ages.
  This type of pigment has excellent resistance to weathering resulting in 
   good colour retention.
 
  Mitico’s unique in house polymer structure combined with ‘solid’ pigments offers good
   UV RESISTANCE and excellent coverage. Often will not require a primer.
 Mitico has superior performance in OUR clean air, high UV, marine salt laden and sulphur
   environment. Which we wish to keep with our very low VOC Mitico paints.
  The enhanced properties of the Mitico Paints add up to a powerful paint coating with
   very high film integrity resulting in a long life paint.
