Why use SkimTech ?

Example Feature Wall Project.

The wall in the photo, dated from pre 1940’s,
the house including THE wall had been
moved on to its current site 28 years previously,
so it could be said it had suffered some movement stressing.

Been painted numerous times, some badly which is why it ended up Wallpapered.
The wall had suffered much physical damage over the years,
rural environment, big gum boots, lively lambs.

The husband then did the hard part of the job removing the wallpaper !

The Wife then reconsolidated old surface with PrimeTech
was a very old plaster wall (horse hair) also including surrounding plaster mouldings.

Filled all holes and cracks with GapTech (wet sanded).

Then applied SkimTech, sanded (wet or dry) back to produce level smooth finish
which was then over painted with Mitico Red Matt ICOAT.

With the ceiling SkimTech was left unsanded, resulting in a light even textured finish
which was then over painted with Mitico White Matt ICOAT.

Remember husband had hardest part of the job, removing the Wallpaper
